This is one of a series of pages about Clay Farm.

The area of Clay Farm between Hobson's Brook and the railway line has been retained in the Green Belt as a wildlife corridor and is
becoming Hobson's Park, a 41 hectares country park (four times the size of Parker's Piece). Landscaping work has been carried out by
Countryside and the park will be transferred to the City Council in 2017. The park is crossed by the Addenbrooke's spur of the busway and
Addenbrooke's Road: the area close to Long Road will be sports pitches for the Community College; the area immediately north of the
busway spur is to be an active recreation space; while the area between the busway spur and road includes a large lake which will be a bird
reserve and also has allotments. The whole area has been extensively planted with trees and is crossed by paths and will include art features.
